Well, last time I left you, my loves, I was on the road to quitting calorie counting and weighing myself daily and although it has been SOOO HARD and I’ve fallen and listened to anorexiasaurus a couple of times, I am soo happy to say that I have been resisting with the help of Jesus.
And let me just say, I HAVE NEVER FELT SO ALIIIIIVE!!!
There is such a bright beautiful side to life once you come awake from the sleep of anorexia.
I have been conquering food challenges left and right through the help of my Valiant Knight, Jesus!
AND LOOK WHATS BEEN GROWING AS I HAVE BEEN GROWING!!
I planted a sunflower seed and it has been growing sooo much! It is currently 7.5 Inches tall!!

Oh my goodness!!! This post is FILLED with accomplishments! You did so amazing with your recovery and made so many excellent choices!
It’s definitely hard for me to eat when I’m not feeling hungry, so MAJOR props on being able to feed your body fear foods even(!) when you weren’t feeling hunger.
And congrats on the job! 🙂 This is my first time here, but I’ll def. come back–super inspiring 🙂
ps. did u grad from HS? college?
🙂 Yay! Im glad I can inspire 🙂
I just graduated from HS a couple of weeks ago and am attending college in thee fall 🙂
Congrats!
Where are you attending college?
When I was in recovery PHP we would always go on walks after our meals. Def. helped so much. I should probably start doing that now, as it might help my eating, but I’m always too busy with school work…
And, yes, thinking of our food as medicine is so very helpful. Because, for us, that is so much the case
xoxo.
I am going to a small private college in Florida 🙂 im suuuuper excited 🙂 Im in Ohio now so its pretty far away 🙂 But I think the change will be good for me since I cannot take the cold!

Congratulations on trying and enjoying so many foods!
I try to do the same, but the guilt after is still too hard
I can’t wait to hear more about your job!
It is really hard sometimes. I have a lot of guilt after eating fear foods too, but I find that if I distract myself and my mind after eating it helps A LOT. I usually go on a short walk after eating a fear food with either my dog or a family member and it is very helpful. It also helps if you think of the food that your eating as like a medicine that will help you get well and restore joy and life to your soul! I wish you the best of luck 🙂

Good for you girl! Keep it up–I swear it only gets better from here. Once you realize how happy you can be when you let go of all your fears, you’re on your way to being healed. Wonderful blog–can’t wait to be a regular reader 🙂
I guess all I can say is CONGRATS ON THE FOOD CHALLENGES! Socially eating is LIVING. Energy is LIVING. Being FREE OF ED is LIVING!
Okay I lied, that’s not all I can say!
Your plant is so adorable, it’s awesome that you like your job, your blog is fantastic, and I’m happy I found it.
NOW I’m done lol

I really like your blog! It looks like you are eating lots of yummy food and that’s awesome! Have a great week 🙂
I’ve just recently started reading your blog and I love it! This post especially made me very happy! You should be SO proud of yourself! You overcame so many obstacles and that is so awesome!! I love your perspective on recovery! I also LOVE how you say you’re “gaining life back.” I always think that to myself when I challenge my ED thoughts/fears. There is so much more to life than an ED and you are proving that! I look forward to reading more of your blog! And by the way, all your food looks yummy! Hope you’re having a great day! =D
